Vintage Shabby Card

This is the second card we made at the "Tim Holtz Meets Stampin' Up!" class last weekend.  It was inspired by papers from Tim Holtz's paper stack "Vintage Shabby".

The card base is Crumb Cake.  I randomly stamped the background (Pink Pirouette) with the images from the Timeless Treasures stamp set from the 2016 Occasions catalog.  I love that set and thought it was perfect for this class!  The  backkground was stamped using Crumb Cake.  The butterfly was stamped using the Watercolor Wings set.   It is a three-step stamp -- the first layer is Pink Pirouette, the second is Crumb Cake, and the last is Blushing Bride.   It was die cut using the Bold Butterfly framelits (available as a bundle).  The sentiment is also from the Watercolor Wings set, stamped with Crumb Cake on Pink Pirouette and sponged with Blushing Bride.  It was punched out with the Label Bracket punch and mounted on Crumb Cake, also with the Label Bracket punch.  I added some pearls on the butterfly for some more softness.
