Lovely As a Tree Reflection Sympathy Card

At this weekend's card class, we made cards using the reflection technique.  The technique lends it self beautifully with nature cards.  This is the first of the three cards.

The technique is really rather simple.  All you need is a piece of transparency.  You could use Stampin' Up's window sheets, but, honestly, it works just as well with transparencies you purchase at the office supply store.

First you stamp the image onto your card front.  Then you stamp the image on the transparency.  Turn the transparency over so the inked side is facing down and place it on the card front with the images lining up.  Rub the transparency with your finger, being sure to get all spots, and when you lift it, the image is transferred onto your card just like magic! After the image was transferred, color the image in, using a lighter hand for the reflection image. There are lots of videos online to actually see the technique being done, and hopefully some day soon, I will begin to do videos!!
