Monthly Inspiration Sheet - Wedding Cards

June kicks off the wedding season, so it seemed appropriate to have a wedding theme for this month’s inspiration projects.   I have a few weddings to go myself this season, so I’ll be ready!

This month’s cards involve minimal or no stamping! There is a link for the downloadable instruction sheet at the end of this post.

1 –Bloomin’ Love Elegant Wedding Card:

This card uses the new Bloomin’ Hearts thinlit set that is in the current Occasions catalog, and will be carrying over to the Annual Catalog.  Although it coordinates beautifully with the Bloomin’ Love stamp set, I did not use any stamps for this card.  I thought the all-white monochromatic scheme made it look very elegant and formal.

Supplies:
Cardstock: Thick Whisper White  (140272 ), Whisper White (100730)
Thinlit:  Bloomin’ Hearts (140621)
Ribbon:  Whisper White 5/8” Satin Ribbon (134549)
Tools: Die Cutting Maching, Precision Plate (139684), Fine Tip Glue (138309) Embellishments:  Pearls (119247)
**Note:  Because of the intricate design of the thinlit set, the precision cutting plate is required in order to get the cleanest cut.

2.  Love Birds Card:

The next card has more punching than stamping and uses one of my favorite punches – Bird  Builder.  I’m so sad that the Bird Builder punch will be retiring at the end of this month.  Get it now, while you can! The other punch used is the Sweetheart punch.  It also uses the background stamp, Something Lacy,, was in last year’s Occasions Catalog.

 Supplies:
Cardstock:  Basic Gray (121044), Real Red (100482), Whisper White (100730)
Ink:  Smoky  Slate (131179),
Stamp: Something Lacy (retired)
Punches:  Bird Builder (117191), Sweetheart (133786)
Ribbon:  1/8” Real Red (retired)
