Day 10 of 30 Days of New Catalog Projects -- Monthly Inspiration Sheets

This month’s inspiration theme is July 4th.  What a wonderful holiday that reminds us of all that we have to be thankful for in this great country of ours!  I will admit that June has been an extremely busy  month so I only have two projects this month.  I promise to make it up to you next month!  Be sure to click on the downloadable instruction sheet for these projects at the end of the post.

1 –Wavy Flag Card:

This card uses the new Swirly Scribbles thinlits that is in the new 201-2017 Annual Catalog.  I saw this card on Pinterest and I just HAD to CASE it!  I just think it is a stunning  design!

Supplies:
Cardstock: Real Red (102482), Whisper White (100730), Dapper Denim (141414)
Thinlit:  Swirly Scribbles (141497)
Punch:  Star from the Tiny Accents Punch Set (retired)
Tools: Die Cutting Machine, Precision Plate (139684)
**Note:  Because of the intricate design of the thinlit set, the precision cutting plate is required in order to get the cleanest cut.

2.  Stamped Flag ATC

This next project is an ATC – Artist Trading Card.  ATCs are miniature works of art that measure 2 ½ x 3 ½ and are traded similar to trading cards.  I belong to a group of crafters who trade cards once a month, and I have accumulated quite the collection of ATCs.  If you have never dabbled in the world of ATCs, I encourage you to do so – you’ll love it!

This  creation uses the Work of Art stamp set as well as the retired Small Number thinlits and the retired small oval punch.
