Day 2 of Holiday Cards in October

Today's Holiday cards begins the sequence of cards made using the Gentle Peace set.  I decided to use this set first because it is on the clearance rack for 7.98 and may not be around much longer.

This first one is a simple window card.  I just love window cards, so it seemed appropriate to use this stamp set, which is one of my favorites.

I posted some simple window cards last month and you can get the directions on how to make it from there.  The image is heat embossed using silver embosing powder and then colored in using Stampin' Write markers.  See details/colors below.

Cardstock:  Night of Navy, Whisper White
Stamp Set:  Gentle Peace
Ink:  Versamark, Night of Navy (for inside sentiment)
Stampin' Write Markers:  Daffodil Delight, Night of Nay, Perfect Plum, Pear Pizzazz,, Marina Mist, Crushed Curry, , Crumb Cake, Soft Suede, Flesh Blendability
Thinlit:  Layering Squares
Embossing Powder:  Silver

This  card took a bit of time (especially the coloring), but I really like how it turned out.  Please check back tomorrow for another project using this beautiful set!

Happy stampin'!
