Calendar Easel Card

I just finished making these calendar easel cards for my customers as a thank you for all of their support throught the year.  I used some of my retired products for these, but they can easily be replicated using different colors and papers.  I've included a short video tutorial so you can see just how easily they came together.

Click on the video for step by step instructions.

Painting Party Birthday Invitation

I designed this bithday party invitation for a girl who was having a painting birthday party.  Perfect timing with the Painter's Palette stamp set this year!

The paintbrush and palette are made with various punches.  The palette is an oval punch. The notch is made with the tip of the retired word window punch.  The brush is made using the word window punch, and its tip is from the retired Blossom Builder punch.  The center is a 1/2" circle punch. The paint on the palette are the large circle from the Owl Builder punch.  The numbers are from the retired Small Numbers die set.  Of course, I had to add some jewels in the corner for a bit of sparkle!

Please let me know if you have any questions about this project or if I can help you with any of your papercrafting needs.

Happy Stampin'!

Bride and Groom Wedding Card

I recently made this wedding card for a coworker.  I found a card very similar to this on Pinterest and CASEd it, changing up a few things and making it my own.  This card uses mostly retired product, and I do apologize for posting a project with products that are no longer available, but perhaps you have, or can borrow, these products to replicate the card!

The base is in Basic Black and is a gate fold.  The paper is cut 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 and scored at 2 1/8 from each side to make the gate fold.

For the groom's shirt, I simply free hand cut a piece of paper in the shape shown.  Then I cut a strip of black paper and notched it to make the bow tie.  The buttons are tiny black rhinestones.

The bride's dress is made in layers of Whisper White cardstock.  First I die cut the shape from the Dress Up thinlits.  Then I die cut three more layers by die cutting only the bottom of the Dress Up thinlit.  Next I embossed all of the layers using the Delicate Designs embossing edge folder.  Finally, I added a few rhinestones.  The top of the gown is covered with Wink of Stella for a nice shine (it doesn't show up in the picture).

The bouquet was made by punching lots of flowersfrom the retired Boho Blossoms punch in Blushing Bride and arranging them as shown.  The stems are simply slivers of Pear Pizzazz cardstock.  As always, I added some rhinestones to the centers of the flowers.

This card was a bit labor intensive, but I think it came out beautifully.  Most importantly, the bride LOVED it!

As always, I'm happy to answer any questions you may have about this project or about Stampin' Up!

Customer Thank You Card

Today's post is a thank you card that I made for my customers a few months ago -- August to be exact -- I never got around to posting it though!

This card came together pretty quickly, which is a good thing when you have to make a lot of the same card.  The base is 5 1/2 x 7, scored at 3 1/2.  The Calypso Coral mat is 2 3/4 x 2 3/4, and the stamped cardstock is 2 1/2 x 2 1/2.  The washi tape is from the retired Epic Day set.  The stamp sets I used are Number of Years (for the floral arrangement) and Circle of  Spring (for the sentiment).  I added some jewel rhinestones in the flower centers for a bit of bling.

So, how many of you have a large stash of washi tape????

We are very fortunate this month to have a guest blogger joining us -- Brian King.  I am sure you will agree that his work is so creative and awesome!

This month's theme was "Anything Christmas".  I had a 31-Days of Christmas Cards,  I was a bit depleted of ideas.  So . . . I hit Pinterest and saw this adorable shaker card (Beth gives great instructions on how to put this card together).  I changed it up a tiny bit and came up with this shaker card. I just love the way the mica flakes move around -- just like a snow globe!

You can see the snow (mica flakes) a  bit better in this picture (sorry about the shadow!)
