Snowman Shaker Card - December Blogging Friends Blog Hop

It's the first of the month, so that means its time for a Blogging Friends Blog Hop, and I welcome you!

If you are new to the blog, we are a group of Stampin' Up demonstrators from all over the  country and Canada who share a love of paper crafting.  Our blog hop happens on the first day of each month, and the hops are always LOADED with great projects and inspiration.  If you are unfamiliar with blog hops, here's how they work:  You "hop" from one blog to the other by clickng on the image at the end of this post to continue on to the next blog which will take you directly there.  There is also a list of all the participants and their blog links so you can "hop" around in any order if you'd like.

If this is your first visit to my site - Welcome!  Be sure to subscribe using the box on the right side of your screen. You can subscribe either by email (you will get an email notification every time there is a new post), or you can subscribe by clicking on "follow".  If you have a moment, I'd love for you to leave a comment below.  I love hearing from everyone!

We are very fortunate this month to have a guest blogger joining us -- Brian King.  I am sure you will agree that his work is so creative and awesome!

This month's theme was "Anything Christmas".  I had a 31-Days of Christmas Cards,  I was a bit depleted of ideas.  So . . . I hit Pinterest and saw this adorable shaker card (Beth gives great instructions on how to put this card together).  I changed it up a tiny bit and came up with this shaker card. I just love the way the mica flakes move around -- just like a snow globe!

You can see the snow (mica flakes) a  bit better in this picture (sorry about the shadow!)

  5. Great cards, Anna! I love the darling little snow-globe card, great colours and perfectly placed bow. I also love the Embellished Ornament card - love the idea of having it hang in the center of the circle cut out. Thank you for the video.
