For Your Country Thank You Card

My daughter needed a card for one of the officers in her unit who was being stationed elsewhere, and this is what I came up with.  Although this stamp set, For Your Country, is retired, there is a current stamp set, Loyal and Blue, that could be used.

The ribbon is not from Stampin' Up.  I had it in my stash and thought it looked great with the Army colors.  It is tied in the middle with some Very Vanilla Thick Baker's Twine. The image is embossed using Versamark and Always Artichoke with clear embossing powder, although it doesn't show up well in the picture.  The image was die cut using the Layering Ovals, and matted onto a piece of Crumb Cake that was die cut using the Stitched Shapes.  They were adhered to the card using Stampin' Dimensionals for some depth.

If you have any questions about this project or any of the product used, please let me know.

Happy Stampin'!
Anna
