Coordinating Card and Envelope Using Basic Butterfly

Black and white is such an elegant color combination to use on cards.  In this card, I've used the Butterfly Basics stamp set to decorate the card on the outside, inside, as well as to make a coordinating envelope.

The front of the card has a beautiful floral image stamped on Whisper  White that has been die cut using a square from the Stitched Shapes Framelit set, which is then mounted onto Basic Black.  The sentiment is stamped, and a small piece of ribbon was added.  Easy peasy, right?

To decorate the inside, I used the negative cut out from the die cutting for the front of the card, and used that as a mask to sponge the black background.  I sponged lightly, so it looks like a charcoal color.  The sentiment was then stamped in Black over that.

The front of the envelope is decorated by stamping a partial image of the flowers in the lower left hand corner.

I also decorated the back of the envelope by stamping the same floral image three times.
